Europe Trip: Street Style

Geek Chic Street Style

Seen in London: Street Style

As I said in my first travel post this week, I so badly wanted to take photos of the amazing street style I saw, but 1. sometimes these jaw-dropping looks were already past me before I could even think to grab my camera and 2. How big of an American creep would have I been? Some may have found it flattering, but I was worried most would find me strange.  Thus, I relied on my visual memory to write down the looks in my journal later and re-create them on Polyvore.  Of course, this doesn’t do these fabulous women justice because their hair, make-up and vibe cannot be displayed through these looks.  But here are a few and I will be sharing more with you soon!

Europe Trip: Dublin

Oh Dublin, I could stay and party there for awhile! Dublin is definitely a fun place to be and a lot to do! And let’s be honest, there is always a pub with a game on and a pint waiting for you! My family enjoyed our single full day in Dublin touring the Guinness Factory, shopping on O’Connelly St., finding local vintage stores, drinking at Temple Bar and watching local Irish musicians and Irish dancers. Hope you enjoy my photos! Tomorrow I show you my Greece photos from Athens and the Greek island of Paros, Happy Friday Eve!

Europe Trip: Paris, Part Two

Our last full day in Paris, we went to the Louvre and saw Ms. Mona Lisa and Cupid, then wandered over to the Arch de Triumph and got dessert at a McCafe!  It was the perfect day and a perfect way to spend our last full day in Paris.  I loved Paris and hope to go back sometime! Hope you enjoy the photos… tomorrow I will be sharing my experience in DUBLIN!

Europe Trip: Paris, Part One

Oh what to say about Paris?! It was so amazing and I took a ton more photos compared to London just because I’ve never been there before.  I was impressed compared to some of the opinions of Paris I’ve heard from others and really enjoyed my time there! These are photos from the first day and a half.  The first night, after our high speed train ride from London, we arrived at our hotel, which was literally just around the corner from Moulin Rouge and on the Blanche Metro stop. It was quite a hopping place! We ate dinner at a nearby pizza place and had a glass of wine, which was cheaper than soda or water! I was all about that!

Europe Trip: London

Hello blogger friends and readers, I have missed you dearly! Coming home was bittersweet like most things in life, I was sad to be leaving Europe and the fun I was having with my sisters and mother, but at the same time I missed my boyfriend, friends and home! Anyway, this week I will be sharing lots of photos from my trip and today we start off with London! We were in London for three full days and one half day before taking the high speed train to Paris. Also, I so badly wanted to take photos of the AMAZING street style I saw, but refrained because I felt so creepy doing it (especially on the Tube and the Metro! haha).  Anyway, I wrote down some of the best outfits I saw and will be recreating them through Polyvore to share with you! Honestly, I loved the street style most in London.  I thought I would see the most in Paris, and maybe its just that I was in too many of the touristy areas, but I was feeling the looks I saw in London more.  Everyone was dressed so chic… with perfectly fitted trench coats, scarves, colored skinnies, etc.  The weather was rainy and pretty chilly for June, so my outfits were mostly skinnies, tees, my leather jacket and snakeskin moccassins!

Neon Details: Part 2, Outfit 3

Welcome to the final post of Neon Details: Part 2, a look at how to summerize neons.  My winterized versions of these neon pieces can be seen at Neon Details: Part 1, seen here.  A leopard print cardigan and leather jacket were perfect for winter, now a denim brown vest, long chain necklace and gold gladiators do the trick during the summer.  And there is nothing better than adding another pop of color to an already bright piece and this small orange bow bag is the perfect option for a cool, casual look that can easily be worn out with girlfriends, to an outdoor summer concert, a flea market or just hanging out with friends. Hope you have enjoyed this series! Will you be buying a neon dress for this summer? How do you wear neon dresses or will you wear yours this summer?
