Easter has always been a joyous celebration, and as I’ve grown up and no longer receive Easter baskets from my parents, I have decided to continue the Easter tradition with my boyfriend. The last couple years I have purchased the typical treats including chocolate bunnies, peanut butter chocolates in carrot form and tasty jellybeans, but in an attempt to be more healthy (which has been a HUGE goal of mine over the past year), I am making a healthy treat Easter basket with Bigelow Tea!

Target is where I do my grocery shopping, so every time I find myself in the tea aisle, Bigelow has so many options to choose from! My personal favorite is the green tea with lemon, which is what I drink on a daily basis at work and would like to try to get my boyfriend addicted to. I have been drinking green tea since high school, so I love it, but it has taken a bit of time for my boyfriend to adjust to the taste, but to swap out soda or an energy drink for green tea in the morning will significantly help us reach our goals (not just calorie wise, but being more conscious about what we are putting in our bodies). Tea is the most natural flavored drink I can have throughout the day, so I want to share this healthy treat with my boyfriend on Easter!

Target has a ton of other fun Easter treat options, including bunny pretzels, cheddar cheese bunny crackers and almonds. I put these all of these together in Easter-themed bags and a couple of fun Easter baskets from the dollar area to complete my healthy Easter basket for my boyfriend. While it is okay to indulge in treats every once in awhile, it is always a good idea to encourage healthy habits. After all the work we have put in to getting healthier, celebrating Easter with Bigelow #TrendTea is a much smarter idea than buying three bags of chocolate or jelly beans (which I would probably eat in one sitting)!

    Cute idea and cute cup!

I gave up soda and sugary drinks 5 or so years ago so I drink a ton of tea.

Bigelow and Yogi are two of my fave brands.

I LOVE this idea! I tell my mom every year to PLEASE not send me candy, because I don’t want to eat it. Also, so sad I missed you at GBS! 🙁

Aww I love Bigelow Tea. I love Tea in general, very very much. Hot or Iced tea. My favorite ever though is tea from Teavana. Quite expensive but so delish!

Love the idea of this Easter Basket for grown-ups. =)

Thank you Sissi! And haha, probably not 🙂 I can’t imagine getting any children hooked on green tea, but giving them some healthy snacks might be the way to go! 🙂
