Giving Assistant: My Experience at Macy’s

- Fashion, Outfits, Shopping

macys-top

With fall officially here, I have been dying to add some new pieces to my closet. One piece I’ve been looking for is a sleeveless ribbed sweater. Why? Because when I’m layering in the fall and winter, things can get bunchy and having a sleeveless option would be great for cardigans, blazers, and cute bomber jackets.

I recently found that perfect ribbed turtleneck sweater at Macy’s! I wanted to add a very “fall” color to my wardrobe, so chose the Port color. I now really want it in all of the colors!

The best part? I was able to find dozens of coupon codes on Giving Assistant to use when checking out at Macy’s.

Once I revealed the code, I simply clicked over to Macys.com to place my order and received a discount and cash back! By creating an account with Giving Assistant, you are able to keep track of how much cash back you’ve earned. You can also choose to donate a portion or all of your cash back to charity by simply adjusting the percentage you want to give to charity and how much cash back you want. The flexibility means you are earning and giving the way you want to. Since I’ve been signed up with Giving Assistant before, I chose the option for any cash back to go 50% to me and 50% to a charity of my choice (but you can choose whatever percentages you want), and my choice being the Minneapolis Sexual Violence Center. The other great part of qualifying purchases through Giving Assistant? Every qualifying purchase gives a meal to a family in need. So I can shop, find my favorite fall clothes, give to my favorite local organization, get cash back, and donate a meal to a family in need? Do I really need to say more? This is a winning way to shop all the way around!

Also, I was able to wear my new ribbed sweater top to the apple orchard and take photos with my dog Emma and sister Kaitlyn! We went here last year, and now that my sister lives in Minneapolis she was able to join us on this exciting adventure! We both love fashion, especially fall fashion so it was fun to sport our looks at the apple orchard!

Between Giving Assistant and this new top from Macy’s, I an amazing time sporting my new fall look at the apple orchard. Though I must say, it’s hard to compete with a mini aussie as a pumpkin? Emma is always stealing the show!
