As I prepare for my trip to New York, I have started to pull together some items to pack in my carry on. We will literally be there for just over 48 hours, so I am trying to prepare a little better than I did for Vegas (when my bag was 49 lb). We are still planning what we are going to do exactly around the photo shoot schedule, but I know that when I’m touring I like to be comfortable, especially in summer heat! So I’m packing a pair of flat sandals, one pair of heeled sandals, a pair of booties, shorts, t-shirt and hoping to fit everything in my carry-on bag. I also found out we will be staying at Sixty Thompson in SoHo, so I AM taking any and ALL suggestions for fun bars, clubs, restaurants, shopping, etc. And of course things to do in NYC in general!

I am such a chronic over-packer. I don’t think I’ve ever traveled with just a carry-on! Hope you have a fabulous trip!

Sixty Thompson is AWESOME! Seriously, I’m so excited for you! If you find yourself with free time in SoHo, you should grab a bite at one of my favorite Italian places, Bianca. It’s cash only, but so delicious!

There’s a lot of great shopping in Soho! My advice is take a cab when you’re wearing the heels…walking around the city and heels do not mix 🙂
