I had a wonderful relaxing weekend – although yesterday was crazy hot (and I wasn’t feeling 100%), we took advantage of the nice weather on Saturday and took a long walk with Emma. I also did a bit more organizing and started decorating more for Halloween. I’m planning on finishing decorating by this Wednesday, so at least I can enjoy the decorations for part of the month, right?! I hope you all had a great weekend. This chambray dress is the perfect fall dress and great for at transition into winter. And my new hat obsession – this wool-blend fedora that’s under $20!

When in doubt, put a vest on it. Guys, earlier this week when I finally started to unpack my closet (felt like a slobby slob for a couple days), I came across my vests that I think were hidden in the back of my closet. Of course I sported my new faux fur one last year, but I forgot that I have two denim vests, a cargo vest and two puffer vests. Vests are a great way to add an extra layer, without too much bulk, and to add an extra dimension to make an outfit even more stylish. Here are just a few I’ve come across recently that I love and would be a great addition to any wardrobe!
