If you’re wondering why I haven’t shared a budget lately, it’s because most of my disposable income is going to the wedding these days! All for good reason though. I mean, after all – that also means the most exciting piece of clothing I will ever wear in my life, right? The wedding dress, plus a bridal shower outfit, rehearsal dinner attire, bachelorette party outfits – so I will still get to have some fun. But, I messed up this month, luckily only by $64.74! I have been wanting to get some new rompers and jumpsuits so went to my...
Wow, wrapping up another year of clothing budgets! Guess what?! I spent ZERO dollars on myself this month. I spent a lot of money this month, but all towards Christmas and birthday gifts for friends and family. But I did receive a couple of things from ShopBop this month that I wanted to share. cupcakes and cashmere Turtleneck Sweater, c/o ShopBop Converse Sneakers, c/o ShopBop Total Spent: $0.00 Feels like a great way to end the year! I have my eyes set on some pretty hefty savings goals next year (you can read more on my budgeting and some savings...
There is nothing that gets me more than a good sale at JustFab. It all started earlier this month when I wanted to purchase a new pair of jeans from JustFab. I like the way their jeans fit my curves, so I purchased a cute pair with zippers (seen here). Well that day, they were having buy one pants, get one half off, so I decided to purchase their luxe sweat pants (mostly to have something cute and comfy to wear on my flight to Miami and because Jacy made this style look SO good)! Fast forward to President’s Day...
It was my birthday month and I’m proud to say I only purchased one pair of heels (for my family trip to Miami in March). I also received this Michael Kors mini bag (I am in love with how cute mini bags are) from ShopBop this month – be on the outlook for it in upcoming outfit posts! Also, just wanted to mention I have kind of been slacking on these updates lately – not because I don’t get to them eventually but I haven’t been putting much thought into my clothing budget and what I actually want...
Oh and my August budget too because I completely forgot to do this/was in North Carolina at the time! Anyway, September was a huge thrifting month for me. I have been really editing my closet lately and had a lot of older work blouses, pants and skirts. I was literally down to one pencil skirt, one pair of pants and four work blouses. I went thrifting with my mom when my parents came to visit last weekend, and we stopped by three of the local Goodwills. I hit the jackpot (or so I’d like to think)! Here is a recap...

Right now my focus is to save up for other things,...
I have slowly but surely been getting rid of more clothes since our move last fall. My closet is significantly smaller than the one at our old apartment, so if I want to have any sort of organization to my closet, I need to get rid of items. With that said, this month I wanted to focus on things I need, basic pieces that work for the office and weekends. Black T-Shirt – Iris & Ink via The Outnet $35 + $4.95 S&H = $39.95 I purchased this black tee from The Outnet. I have never shopped there before,...
