Long, Oversized Yellow Coat

Yellow Cardigan, Embroidered Floral Booties

Hello FRIENDS! I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend! This is my FIRST outfit post in awhile and my first outfit post as a MARRIED WOMAN! I look so different don’t I?! Haha, just kidding. You know the funny thing is I thought I would have SO much more free time post-wedding to dedicate to this space, but it’s honestly just been catching up with so much I had to put on hold while I was finalizing the details of our wedding. Speaking of, we got our photos back and I absolutely cannot wait to share them with you all. I also can’t wait to share more about my bridal shower, bachelorette party and the most important lessons I learned while and after planning a wedding. I used to wonder why people waited to post their wedding content until after they got married, but trust me, I get it now! I couldn’t even have tried to dedicate time to posting even if I wanted to. Plus, I think you learn so much after going through the process that it really makes sense to give advice after, not during, the process.

Sorry I have been absent for a week after getting back from vacation. It was a busy week getting back into the groove of a full work week and I just wanted to be lazy like I was for a week while on vacation. Anyway – hope life has been treating you well! Today I’m sharing a look from this weekend, styling a cute, casual camel sweater from Moddeals! Moddeals is one of my go-to places to find cute, trendy pieces for $15 or less. Most items are priced at $10 or less, including this sweater.

When I style my outfits, I normally stick to mixing in colors or patterns, but for the first time I tried a monochromatic neutral look of camel. I think it can be a very chic look when done right and I love the way this coat, felt fedora and boots all work together in a winter neutral look. Hopefully I’ll be styling more spring look soon, but for now, I’m keeping my sweaters out!

Weekend Chic Style: Steals Under $25

Weekend Chic Style - Each Piece Under $25!

{Dress} {Sunglasses and Similar} {Necklace} {Bag} {Flats}

How is it possibly August already?! I feel like it was just the 4th of July yesterday! Normally I would be excited (because the closer I get to fall the happier I am), but last year the Minneapolis area didn’t really get a fall and our winter was dreadful. I feel like I haven’t recovered from last year’s winter! Anyway, enough weather talk (hello boring blogger here)!

I’ve been finding some amazing, affordable chic pieces recently and wanted to throw together a chic, simple look for a summer weekend. This look would be great for the farmer’s market, a shopping trip, brunch, happy hour or date night! The best part is that each piece here is less than $25 – all great items to add to your closet. And let’s be honest, I need these leoaprd flats! They look exactly like a pair I had years ago and are less than $20! Forever 21 has a lot of other great leopard flats right now too.

Hope you have an amazing weekend and enjoy your first few days of August!
