When It Rains

Rain Boots 3

These rain boots from Joules are just what I need for rainy days and winter weather. It seems no matter how much I spend on a pair of winter boots, my feet always end up getting wet or cold! For a summer look, it was easy to pair these boots with a lace, floral print dress and a brown vest. It has been pretty chilly here for end of July/August… I mean like 65, which is technically my ideal weather so I shouldn’t complain but this time of year I just expect it to be at least around 85. Anyway, yesterday it rained early morning and then got steamy and warm by the end of the day. I just want to dress the way I want to without paying attention to the weather ๐Ÿ˜‰

I mean yeah, really?! I’m definitely not complaining, I just don’t check the weather as often as I should so I am having problems getting dressed when I’m assuming I should be wearing shorts and a tank top or skirts and sleeveless shirts!

The rain boots look adorable with your dress! The past few days it’s been in the upper 70s which is also cold for this time of year. I want my hot summer weather back.

Thanks girl! Me too! They are very high quality and comfortable. Yesterday went from being very rainy in the morning to very steamy in the afternoon (when we took pictures) so I wish I had put some socks on to keep the boots from rubbing against my sweaty legs ๐Ÿ™

I love the floral dress! and as someone living in Seattle, I don’t own a single pair of rain boots (or winter boots for that matter) and just wear my leather boots out in the rain which is probably not a good idea! ๐Ÿ™

YOU DON’T HAVE RAIN BOOTS AND YOU LIVE IN SEATTLE?!?!?! How do you survive?!?! JK :-p I bought my first pair of rain boots when I was still in college. I was sick of coming home with soggy socks and wet feet when I would literally have a day of class/clubs from 8-8 and it would be raining all day. This pair is even nicer and better quality so I’m really excited to get more use out of them this fall and definitely into winter! I never thought of rain boots as winter boots before, but with all the slush, it makes sense!

oh man! 97?! That's hot and it is getting hot here again. I really wonder why I live in the Midwest. It isn't so much what temperature it is, it is the shifting from 65 days to 90 days that make it really difficult!
