Perhaps you have seen me wearing this striped turtleneck too much since I started my blog (this is the third time, you can see the other outfits here and here), but I love turtlenecks and I love stripes so this piece is just one of those staples in my closet that I love to layer under and over clothing as well as with lots of jewelry. This outfit was inspired by a feature in Lucky Magazine (pages 36-38) where singer-song writer Alison Sudol remixed her striped shirt and when I saw it layered underneath a white dress with a necktie, I knew I wanted to try the look! So here is a take on black and white with layering, stripes and open-toed heels!

March 16, 2012 at 9:46 AMWhat a fabulous look, Rachel! Love your open-toed heels from justfab, so classy! It doesn’t matter if you have worn your turtle neck shirt many times. You still look great on your turtle neck shirts. Great mix and match!
