Today my focus is snakeskin in the workplace. Working in a more conservative environment, the animal prints must remain minimal. These pumps are the perfect touch to any work ensemble and are just the right touch for weekend wear with black skinny jeans.
As Snakeskin Week continues, I have decided to do an inspirational post Friday of snakeskin outfits and would love too see and post your snakeskin outfit and accessory photos! Please e-mail me at [email protected] with your photo by tomorrow (Thursday, March 29) by 10 p.m. (Central Time) along with your blog address (if you do not have a blog, just send me a photo with a name!) and I will compile all of the snakeskin looks in a post on Friday! If you forget tomorrow, no worries … still e-mail me your look on Friday and I will continue to update the post throughout the day! (I will just be placing the looks in order of when I receive them)! Excited to see your looks, hope you will join me on Friday!
Happy Wednesday, and don’t forget to check out the “Work It Wednesday” link up over at A Little Bit of Lacquer for amazing office wear inspiration!

March 28, 2012 at 11:42 PMAwww thank you! Well I have been using my Jergens sunless tan lotion again now that it is closer to summer, but I don’t think that was completely it!!!! I wish I had a secret, but I think it was a combination of the fact that since it was dark we were using flash and usually we don’t take outfit photos with flash and enhancing the contrast!

March 29, 2012 at 12:24 AMI totally agree with you Rachel! Working snakeskin into a work-appropriate outfit can be difficult. But I really think you’re doing a great job by adding little details. I definitely think this outfit is great for work 🙂

March 29, 2012 at 1:06 AMI think using snakeskin in a shoe is perfect for work! And it is a totally versatile piece so you can dress it up. I have a pair that I forgot about…thanks for the reminder!

March 29, 2012 at 9:54 AMThat fabulous closed-toe shoe adds intrigue and personality to your office attire. Animal print doesn’t always have to be reserved for a wild night on the town. That snakeskin pattern is so feminine and fun, and they can certainly be office friendly. You rock with that outfit!
