Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know that you can now find me on Poshmark. As I’ve been cleaning my closet, I’ve been finding quite a few things to give away and things that I’d like to sell (only if they are in great shape)! Do you use Poshmark? I like it because I can immediately print off the shipping label and as long as the package is under 2 lb, it ships for free. Also, I’m a huge nerd, but selling things means I get to write thank you notes and I am OBSESSED with thank you notes haha. I used to sell my clothes to Plato’s Closet and Clothes Mentor, but the most I came out with one time was $20 (that was for two pairs of heels that had NEVER been worn, a jacket, three shirts and a pair of jeans). Anyway, if you want to follow me, or are selling on there too, let me know your Poshmark user name so I can buy your closet 😉

May 28, 2013 at 8:46 AMBeth I definitely would look into it! I have listed like 8 things or so and already sold 2 for over $30, granted one was a Coach purse, so that helped my sales, but it really is easy and you can have them listed for as long as you’d like without having to pay for the listing!

May 28, 2013 at 10:44 AMI wish I did! I think a lot of people are looking for designer bags, so it was super easy to sell my Coach handbag, but otherwise, I’m just trying to price low! I’ll still be making more money than taking it to Plato’s or Closet Mentor and I’ve done the whole eBay thing, but it seems like there is SO much stuff. On Poshmark, since you follow people, you get their updates in your feed, AND you can search. Even though it was cheap to list stuff on eBay, I didn’t like having to renew the listing all the time! So just describe it well and if you aren’t generating any interest, no likes or shares, try to lower the price!
