Online casinos have become extremely popular over the last ten years and the ability to do it on the move on any device that you own can be credited for its ongoing success, but many people still like to go to real casinos. Going to a real casino can be a great night out and there are many things you can do at a casino. You can take in some entertainment, usually music or a magic show, or you can even just go for dinner if you want. Either way it’s a fantastic opportunity to get dressed up.
Lots of casinos have dress codes and other than the seriously upmarket ones, it is usually smart casual. It will never be just casual, so it’s worth your while to make some effort to avoid any embarrassing situations at the door. Casinos can turn people away at their own discretion. If you are going to the casino with friends, or even work colleagues, you don’t want to sour the night by getting turned away.
If you are going to the casino in the evening, it’s nice to wear something formal anyway as it will get you in the mood for a great night and could even mean drinks on the house all night if you make the right impression on the staff and the other casino goers. Wearing a nice cocktail dress with strappy heels is on the dressier side, but if you are there to party, it could be the right look for you. A simple little black dress is more understated, but if you are gambling then you will want to be comfortable as well as dressy, so you could match it with great accessories to bring it up a notch. Make sure you don’t show too much skin as this could get you turned away.

November 5, 2013 at 1:16 PMOur casino in Ohio doesn’t have much of a dress code. Just the no shoe, no shirt thing, unless there is an event going on. I’d love to go to one where I could dress up!

November 7, 2013 at 8:28 PMIt’s so much fun to dress up for the casino! Although I always need a sweater or jacket because they crank the air conditioning so high!
