This time of the year can be so frantic trying to make sure you find the perfect gift for everyone, which is why I’m glad I discovered Walgreens Photo App to help me create the perfect gift. My sister just got married in October and I don’t think she’s had a lot of time to go through photos and figure which ones to print out. I thought one of their photos on a canvas would make a great gift. I downloaded a few of their wedding photos to my phone to get started.
I simply downloaded the Walgreens App onto my iPhone (please ignore how many emails I have to get through this week… haha) and opened it up to the menu, which you can see on the right. It is a great app to check your rewards and since Walgreens is also my pharmacy, I could easily scan my prescriptions to get refill reminders and it even reminds me to take my pills every day. Anyway, it was SO easy to be able to print a photo.
When you go into the photo menu, it pops up with options for photo cards, collage prints and poster/canvas prints. As you can see, you can also easily get photos from Instagram, Facebook and from your personal phone album. I went into the canvas print menu and the best part about this is how fast they turn around your product! You don’t have to wait for it to go to print, you don’t have to wait for shipping, you get same-day service.
I decided to use a close up picture of them, a photo that shows how happy they were on that day! I simply uploaded it from my phone and then it allows you to choose a size and crop your photo. When you download the app, it also chooses your preferred and closest Walgreens store. So I hit print to Walgreens and just like that my order was sent to the Walgreens just a few minutes away from my place.
Also, right now there is a great promotion for 40% your photo order! Make sure to enter PHOTOBYW when you check out! My order was sent in at 1:01 p.m. and it was ready for pick up at 1:54 p.m. Now that’s a fast turnaround time!
I absolutely love the way it turned out! I now know if I ever need a last-minute gift to look no further than my Walgreens Photo App and get same day turnaround on a personalized photo gift.
My sister reads my blog when she gets a chance, but I’m secretly hoping she wont’ look at it this week, but if you are reading sister, Merry Christmas!
