[…] oxfords, I was set for a day at work (I was wearing the same belt and oxfords in an outfit post here). Even though this skirt is more of a blush color than pink, I LOVE the idea of olive/military […]
The simplicity of pairing various shades of neutrals from tan to dark brown can turn into a surprisingly chic end result. This outfit started with my new nude dress that I got on sale at a local Minneapolis store and from there it went in this order: polka dot cardigan, belt and oxfords. My oxfords are always hidden away in my closet (sadly) and every time I wear them, I remember how fashionable they can make an outfit look! Unfortunately my shoes are in a big pile in my closet right now because my turning shoe holder broke (oops!). I’m going to need to figure out a better way to organize my massive (to say the least) shoe collection that continues to grow. Back to the outfit: with the dress, I wanted to pair a my beige cardigan with earthy green polka dots that also always seems to get hidden in my closet. I guess this outfit stemmed from the hidden treasures of my closet!

You look so gorgeous dear *.* kisses, KATEFP
I know what you mean, Rachel! I used to pair these colors often about 4 years ago for chic pairings (haha since then I’ve totally worn out all my clothes that were dark greens and browns *tears*). I’ll have to try and reincorporate them into my closet. I’ve been so blinded by bright colors lately 😛 Thanks for sharing this and reminding me about earth tones 🙂
