Outfit Snapshots

Hey guys! Just wanted to do a quick round up of some recent posts on Instagram… I had a lot of questions about the first outfit, so I figured I would just share other recent photos as well and share similar items! Happy Tuesday!10358427_799880430031252_2041026980_n

My whole outfit is … OLD, but here are the details and similar options:

This is my FAVORITE skater skirt ever. Sadly I bought it on sale last year from Asos and it sold out super fast. It sold out before I even had a chance to share it.  Here are some similar options:

On Cinco de Mayo I wore an old Zara dress my friend gave me last year! She ordered it off of eBay and they accidentally sent her the wrong size, and well, lucky for me, it was my size! I decided to pair it with my thrifted Ralph Lauren jean jacket and a simple necklace.

Patterned Pants

Patterned Pants outfit

I haven’t ever been a huge fan of patterned pants. Not because I don’t like the way they look on others, but I always felt like they highlighted the area that I hate most about myself (errr my thighs). I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs in my confidence surrounding my body since starting this blog, but one thing is certain now, I LOVE my thick legs and I am not afraid to dress them in patterns.

I love this pair (that I got for $10 by the way, STEAL) because they are so easy to pair with a black jacket, white blouse/shirt and booties. By the way, yes I am freezing in these pictures and YES I absolutely threw back on my big puffy coat after we took these.

Also, I know I keep saying this, but I swear it is true this time. I am really excited to get back into outfit posts. Between being busy, taking more time for myself (and spending more time in the gym), the cold weather, my lack of motivation and the style slump I have been in for over a month, I am finally feeling like I’m getting back to it! I apologize for being not as interactive over the past few months. Even though I might not comment, I still try to visit all of my favorite blogs throughout the week!

Holiday Spirit

christmas eve outfit 5

My sisters and I have a tradition of getting our nails done before getting ready for Christmas Eve mass and this year I decided to be just as festive for my Christmas Eve daytime wear as I am for my church wear!  With my new patterned pants that I scored for $7 and a vintage sequin shirt, I felt very festive for the day, full of holiday spirit.  I added a spiked bracelet to make the outfit more edgy, but my favorite accessory in these photos is my pup Emma in her Christmas sweater. Can you tell she loves the snow?! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday… back to work today for me, but another 4 days off is coming up in just a few! Happy Wednesday!
