What to Wear in Vegas

I have been dreaming about going to Vegas ever since being there in March, especially since it should be pool weather there now. With the summer heat though, I would pack just a little bit different for a trip there. Here are my picks for what to wear in Vegas this summer!

My boyfriend also hasn’t stopped dreaming of going back to Vegas and we are trying to plan another trip hopefully for this summer or after my sister’s wedding in October (it is a lot of work being the maid of honor). Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World after all, so there is always something new to do and try. This is what I would wear on the plane, something comfortable and chic. A striped t-shirt, vest, faux leather leggings and wedged sneakers.

You want to stay cool while walking the strip, so wearing a sleeveless tank or blouse, like this gorgeous lace peplum tank, a pair of jean shorts and strappy flat sandals creates the perfect outfit to look cute and stylish while exploring the strip. In Vegas, you can never be too dressed up for the pool. Yes, the pool. This is not your typical vacation spot with no makeup, no jewelry and no heels by the pool. In fact, some or all of these may be encouraged (and I’ll never forget that from my first time there). Be prepared with some tinted moisturizer, lip gloss with SPF, a little bronzer, some wedges and a floppy hat. This way you can make as much of a statement by the pool as you will out at night.

When going out in Vegas, it is the time to put on your best and bring your best. There is no need for hesitation, go for it! Bright colors, the highest heels, sequins, skin tight, wild print, is it all ACCEPTABLE, but just make sure you feel great so you can have an amazing night out. This neon bandage dress, fancy statement necklace and caged nude heels are perfect for a night out. Throw all of your necessities, ID, lipstick, mascara, cell phone and money in a cute little clutch and enjoy a wild, crazy “What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas” night!
