Hey friends, I hope you are doing well! Here are a couple ideas for what to wear this Thanksgiving – one is more casual and one is more dressed up. No matter what you are doing this Thanksgiving, planning out your outfit in advanced will make sure you have everything you need the day of (becuase if you are like me, even packing for a day can be a lot)!
My finance and I are headed to Florida this Thanksgiving, and I’ve already started getting ready for the holiday (along with packing summer like clothes that I’m absolutely not used to for November)! We are very excited and can’t wait to hit the road this Friday (yay to short weeks)! What are you up to this year?

November 14, 2016 at 8:47 AMI just like that all of these options allow for a food baby which is pretty much my #1 criteria for food on Thanksgiving.

November 14, 2016 at 9:01 AMGreat outfits, but as the mom and cook for the family, very impractical. I’m usually sweating in the kitchen from having the oven on all day, so the sweater is too heavy. The poncho is impractical because I need to use my arms. But, they are appropriate if your just a guest at Thanksgiving and you can just show up and eat! And they are also really, really cute. Love the colors in the poncho.

November 14, 2016 at 1:40 PMAmy, such a great point! I didn’t even think of that! I have been so lucky that I have only helped with a side dish or dessert and have never had to slave away in the kitchen for too long. Actually, a poncho might even be difficult while eating 😉 But yes, next year when I do a round up like this, I’ll need to consider those cooking too!
