This past week, my boyfriend and I started a weekly meeting to catch up on blogging things. It might seem silly to some, but we both have very busy schedules, so finding time to take photos on the weekends and discussing other ideas for the blog was really really helpful. Plus it is fun because each week we are going to try out a new place to eat, grab a drink have the meeting and then go thrifting!
After meeting at Pizza Luce, we headed to the nearby Goodwill and I found two dresses perfect for Valentine’s day! This red lace dress is a great choice for date night paired with black opaque tights and I opted for something a bit more wild and fun – leopard heels. A classic pair of black pumps or even a monochromatic look with red pumps would also be perfect. This is why I love shoes so much – they always seem to be the finishing touch that can really change the way an outfit or dress looks! I think we have decided to stay in, cook a nice meal and watch some movies, but I still love to get dressed up for Valentine’s Day, even if I’m staying in!

February 10, 2015 at 7:09 AMWhat a perfect dress, and even better thrifted. I love it when I see bloggers styling thrifted pieces as it is an inspiration for me. Many of my clothes are from clothing swaps or thrifted too so thank you for sharing this lovely dress today. Your date with your hubby sounded sweet, and your photos and outfit look amazing. Have a great Valentines day!

February 10, 2015 at 2:47 PMYes, thrifting has been a huge part of my life for a long time, and it is so hard for me to spend a lot on any one item when I know I can find something similar while thrifting later on!

February 11, 2015 at 11:30 AMI think I’ve said this one hundred times, but you are always so extra stunning in red! This dress was an amazing thrift find and I love how you styled it in a way that’s still realistic for winter (with a coat ;)). Gorgeous!
And your meetings with your boyfriend sound so fun! Trey has finally started to get more interested in my blog and it’s been great to bounce ideas off of him.

February 11, 2015 at 2:44 PMThanks darling! My boyfriend actually has told me that the last few shoots – he loves me in red, so I think I need to start wearing more of it lol 🙂 Also yes – it was VERY cold without a coat, but wanted to show off the fun sleeves! If I wear this on Saturday, there will definitely be a coat involved haha 😉
