Recently a reader told me about her birthday party theme (Blazers, skinny jeans and heels) and wanted to know what some fun, stand out combinations could be to make her stand out at her party. I sent her six options (some with regular blue jeans and then the above options with colored denim). I wanted to share the looks I came up with colored denim because I think they are a great option for a night out with girlfriends this spring and summer!
The first look is all based off of one color family and I think the blue family is great for summer! It is fun and could be really striking for a night out. If it is too much of one color for your taste, maybe just do the teal jeans and shoes or teal jeans and blazer rather than all three and go for a more basic color for the blazer or the heels!
The second look is very sweet and romantic with white skinnies, a blush blazer and a lilac tank top. Paired with gold accessories, this would definitely make a fun, yet chic summer going out ensemble. And I personally believe that a statement necklace is the easiest way to dress up a blazer and transform it from professional attire to a night look.
Finally, I made a look with yellow skinnies. Yellow with an animal print, classic pumps and black blazer would be another stylish take on this theme with some neutral colors and prints mixed in.
As you can see, there are countless ways to incorporate color with a blazer, skinny jeans and heels outfit! If anyone ever has any questions about anything you see on my blog or questions in general, feel free to hit the pink “contact” button on the side of my blog to reach me at my personal e-mail and I will try my best to get back to you as soon as possible (and I LOVE getting reader questions)! Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
