The 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Top Sale Picks!

Happy Monday friends! Yesterday, I went shopping at Nordstrom for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open!, and picked up some amazing pieces and beauty items! And, in just a few days, it will be open to everyone! Officially, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts on July 21, 2017! You can see some of my Instagram stories of what I tried on, but here is a full recap of what I tried on and what I purchased!
From new jeans to the best beauty deals, here are my top picks for Nordstrom’s 2017 Anniversary Sale!

First up – a good ol’ gray t-shirt and jeans! I LOVE the patchwork on this pair of denim and they were also super stretchy and comfy. I wear jeans to work almost every day (I work in a very casual environment) so I immediately fell in love with the unique details of this pair of jeans. Also, I reviewed this same t-shirt last year and wanted to make sure it was just as comfy as before. A GREAT t-shirt for $17.90.

I love the way this t-shirt looks tucked in too! It’s available in 16, yes 16 colors! So make sure to grab a few if you are in need of new t-shirts!

And then I discovered this dress…. a beautiful floral-print dress with bell sleeves. And another great deal marked down to $91.90 from $138.

There’s nothing I love more than a good bell sleeve! I think it gives a floral-print dress a whole new unique design and since this dress is long-sleeve, it’s perfect for summer office environments (hello crazy AC) and works well into fall and winter with tights and booties.

Well I did not end up buying this beautiful Maggy London dress yesterday, it is still on my wishlist!

Vince Camuto French Terry Sweatshirt |  KUT from the Kloth Donna Skinny Jeans in Wine

Okay, forgive me for using the word cute all the time – BUT HOW CUTE is this short-sleeve terry sweatshirt? There is nothing I love more than a comfy, yet cute sweatshirt styles. It’s a bit more dressed up than my pajama style, but still acceptable for my casual work environment! I’ve also been wanting a pair of wine/burgundy pants forever and KUT from the Kloth is one of my favorite denim brands. These wine jeans are on sale for $52.90!

I seriously wanted to take this outfit home with me… and while I didn’t yesterday – I might have to come back to them before the sale is over! But I won’t wait too long because I know how quickly things sell out!

So then I had to try on the same t-shirt, just in one of their designs. I love t-shirts with prints because they automatically feel more dressy but are just as practical and comfortable for whatever the day might bring!

Caslon Rib Knit Cotton Tunic | NYDJ Leggings

And then my double black, double zipper look! This sweater is SO comfy and is available in 7 colors for $49.50. I know, isn’t it crazy I’m trying on sweaters when there’s a heat index of 95 to 100 out… but it’s always fun to prep for fall and get great deals before the weather starts changing. There is also nothing better than a great pair of leggings! These were super comfy and super flattering. The best combo!

While I’m normally drawn to cream sweaters – I already have so many of them! That’s why I opted for the black color. So this versatile and the oversized sweater will be perfect for fall and winter (when I start to hibernate again)! So I left Nordstrom yesterday with this black sweater in my bag. Highly recommend it!

I’m not going to lie – this was one of my favorite looks. It’s of course very simple and easy to put together, but this cream sweater was SUPER COMFORTABLE, in fact the most comfortable sweater I tried on (there were a few others not pictured). Anyway, I already have two other cowl-neck cream sweaters so had to say no. BUT it comes in gray, so I’ll probably be stopping back at Nordstrom Ridgedale soon 😉

So at the end of the day, I left with the Caslon Patchwork Skinny Jeans and Caslon Rib Knit Cotton Tunic and quite a few beauty items (whoops)!
