Green & Gold | Monday Mode

You guys – the PACKERS won last night and I couldn’t be more excited. It was a very intense game there at the end, but they pulled it off with a field goal in the last three seconds. I honestly am not very into sports in general, but I’ve been a Packers fan for years. I remember in second grade, my dad asked me who my favorite NFL team was (very typical for us to sit down and watch NFL games with him), and I said the Packers (silly that he asked considering my parents had been fans long before I was born).

Now I didn’t have to be a fan just because my parents were, but at the time green was also my favorite color – so it made complete sense to me as an 8-year-old! We’ve all gone through the heartbreaks together and the glory moments like last night. I honestly hate how attached I get to these games, but I guess that’s why people love sports so much! It’s fun to feel like a team together as your put your whole heart into it. Anyway, the reason for the football talk today is because this outfit is actually what I wore a couple weeks ago to support the Packers. All of my Packers gear was dirty or in the wash, so I took a “fashionable” approach with a mustard yellow (gold) pom pom hat and a camo (green) jacket. I thought why not create a fun look to support them. Some of my Packers friends at work didn’t think it was good enough, but I gave it my best shot. GO PACK GO!
