Polka Dot Fun : Thrift Style Thursday

So I guess I’m getting a little better at this… 😉 I knew I wanted to wear my favorite vintage polka dot dress, purchased by my mama in Napa Valley at Betty Girl’s Boutique! It used to be our favorite place to visit in California when my older sister lived there! I think I need to make an excuse to get back to Napa Valley, I mean hey, why not?!

I meant to go thrifiting this week and was hoping to find a fun, bright, patterned cardigan like this. Instead, I opted for my new cardigan from 10DollarMall (which will be coming up soon in another outfit post… stay tuned)! So basically I threw this together this morning, and we take pictures at night… so here are some iPhone pics to show details! (Sorry, next week real pictures I hope). The theme this week was cute and quirky. To me the polka dots and bow belt represent the cute part, and pairing it with a fun, bright color brings in the quirky. Again, I think a patterned, or bright neon cardigan might have done that even better, but I love the way this outfit turned out! Have you thrifted anything cute or quirky lately?!
