Quick & Easy All-Day Makeup with Neutrogena

Having a go-to daytime beauty look is essential for anyone like me who likes to sleep in just a bit longer in the mornings but still make it to work on time. I tend to spend no more than ten minutes doing my makeup in the morning, unless if I am absolutely dragging (this is why coffee is usually sitting on my bathroom counter top).

Shopping for groceries at Target is always exciting for me because right across the way are the beauty aisles. Who can resist stopping to check out what’s new? I am always restocking my powder and checking out the Neutrogena, a brand that has always been a part of my makeup looks.

Here are the Neutrogena beauty products I picked up for a long-lasting, #AllDayLook:

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, Neutrogena Shine Control Powder

Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara, Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner

First, make sure to start out with a clean, moisturized face. This will ensure proper application of makeup and help keep it in place all day.

I start with a big makeup brush to apply the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup (in natural beige). I pour just a little bit out of the bottle onto my wrist and pick up some product on my brush. If you don’t have a foundation brush, this foundation is super easy to apply with your hands. Make sure to blend in well. While I haven’t used this foundation in the past, I find it to be perfect to conceal some of the redness I have and help improve overall look and texture of my skin. Most importantly, it lasts all day! I have pretty bad under eye bags, so I apply a little bit of concealer under my eyes as well to help me look awake and refreshed.

Since I have very oily skin, it is important for me to put on powder after I apply liquid foundation. This helps me keep my oily skin under control for the day! I also apply a touch of bronzer to my cheekbones and temples, and a little bit of blush to the apples of my cheeks with a blush brush.

I also add a lighter, shimmery brown shadow to my eyelids. It is a good neutral for the work day. Next, fill in your eyebrows. Sometimes I will go for a more bold brow look, but during the week, I keep them simple. Then I add the Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner in cosmic black from the outside to the inner corner of my eyelid. The smudge tool on the other side of the eyeliner makes it simple to achieve the look you want, and for the day time, I go over the eyeliner with the smudge tool to give it a more natural look. Then I add a couple coats of the Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara after curling my eyelashes. This mascara helps my eyelashes look very full without being clumpy.

A touch of color with the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Lip Color Stick in Sweet Watermelon for just a bit of color and moisture without being too overwhelming.

Finally, I finish off my #AllDayLook with a layer of the Neutrogena Shine Control Powder. As I mentioned earlier, I have very oily skin, so adding this even on top of my powder helps give a flawless, matte finish and keeps my oily skin under control!
