Saturday evening, Emma and I took a short walk up the street to visit my blogger friend Zhenya! She is celebrating a new chapter in her life by going back to college to pursue fashion, whoot whoot! I was excited to come over and bring my little best friend, Emma. Emma had so much fun being able to run around in the fenced-in yard and playing with an almost four-year-old.
My boyfriend is dropping Emma off at his parents tonight, as we are heading out tomorrow night for North Carolina. It is always bittersweet to say good bye because on one hand it usually means we are going on vacation, but I always end up missing her (and her cuddles) and can’t wait to see her again. It will be sad to say good bye for a whole week, but I know she will have a fabulous time at the grandparents 🙂 There really is a special bond between a woman and her dog — !

I couldn’t agree more. A Floral Dress is a woman’s best friend. Definitely brings out our playful feminity. Love yours, so so pretty. I love the kimono inspiration of the dress!!

This dress is beautiful on you, the floral print is so pretty. What a sweet little pup! I always hate leaving mine when we go on vacation too, it’s a weird balance, being so excited for a trip but also missing your dog terribly. Have an amazing time!!

The print of that floral dress is particularly gorgeous! I hope you guys have a wonderful trip. I fully understand your difficulty leaving your furry little baby behind. MC and I brought our cat on our honeymoon! When you love your pet, you love your pet. 🙂

That dress is amazing! I really love the floral print on this dress! It’s very vintage and feminine! And your dog is also very adorable too! Even though I’m not a big fan of dogs, yours looks like quite the charmer! You’re really lucky to have her!
RachelSeptember 2, 2014 at 2:45 PM
Haha, she really is! I must admit, I’ve always been a cat person but my boyfriend is very allergic to cats, so I convinced him that we should get a dog. Little did he know he is also allergic to long-haired dogs, whoops haha! But she is the sweetest and I actually see similar qualities to the cat I had growing up!

I LOVE this dress on you, Rachel! It’s so flattering and pretty – the colors are fantastic! I definitely understand what you said about it being hard to leave behind your pup when you travel. I always feel so guilty about it!
