This past weekend my family came to visit and it was such an amazing time! We ate out, had brunch, watched Iowa State kill it in the championship game vs. Baylor and just enjoyed each other’s company. Today is my mom’s birthday and they are still in town, so I can’t wait to catch up with them for lunch before they head back to Iowa. Still have no idea what to wear for Thanksgiving? I put together some ideas based on how casual or dressy your Thanksgiving might be this year. Yesterday I got to drink hot chocolate, which means it is finally getting colder. WHICH means I get to start wearing jackets and scarves and layers! Yesterday was probably the first day it finally felt like spring to me. It got up to 50, the sun was out just long enough to put a smile on my face and I was more productive than I’ve been in months on a Sunday. So I got very lucky with the Easter bunny this year… 2 new pairs of jeans, a blouse and a blazer from Kohl’s (all for under $27… hello 80% off rack!) Yes, my mom took my little sister and I shopping and because we found so many great deals, she decided to buy some extra goodies for Easter. I am in love with this floral blouse. It is such a pretty color and it goes perfectly with my cobalt pencil skirt!
