4th of July Outfit

4th of July_11

Every 4th of July, I try to put together a new red, white and blue outfit with pieces I already own in my closet. I seem to own a lot of different items in these colors, or variations, so it is really fun! (See other red, white and blue outfits here, here, here and here). This year I wanted to make my Asos skater skirt the certain of attention. This white skirt has been a new favorite in my closet and I always want to wear it (previously seen here and here).  Along with my old cutout striped top that I got freshman year of college, a red clutch I won from a blogger giveaway and a nude pair of pumps, I had my ultimate 4th of July outfit put together for 2013. Oh and this adorable InPink starfish bracelet. Just the right touch!

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday weekend (hopefully most of you have Friday off or get to take it off) and have an amazing 4th of July!!!!!!!

Rachel, I own a lot of red white blue pieces in my wardrobe, those are classic colours and my favourite too. Love how you play with different textures here and especially the cut off in the back is super cute 🙂 Wow I never win in giveaways but must admit never really participate in them either 🙂

You look so cute! I love that gorgeous dress – I can see why you wanted to include it in this outfit! I pretty much do the same thing for 4th of July – just try to put together some red, white and blue that I already have in my closet. I’m always surprised at how well it works out!

I love your skirt! I usually think that stripes on stripes looks kind of silly, but the subtlety of the stripes on your skirt totally make this work. I love it! The back on your shirt is really cool, too 🙂
