Wow, that is the least amount of money I’ve spent on clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. in any given month in YEARS! I am very proud of myself! It’s not that I don’t want to purchase things I need, but with a reduced closet and better quality items, I’m feeling like I’m loving my wardrobe more lately.
Right now my focus is to save up for other things, like traveling, weddings and just life in general. Spending less on clothes gives me a lot more breathing room for other areas in life! I’m not sure what my plan is for next month’s budget, but I think I will probably aim for under $50! There’s something really freeing about going from spending $300 to $400 on month on clothes to less than $20 a month. Makes me feel like I have self control, and has given me the opportunity to get to know the clothes in my closet better!

June 3, 2014 at 8:32 AMHaha! I would love to take you shopping with me! Wish you lived closer 🙁 And sometimes I also blow that much on the first of a month! I’m just trying to show myself that I already have clothes I love and the less I spend each month I think the easier it will be to evaluate what I actually need!
