Kentucky Derby

- Outfits

I have always wanted to have a Kentucky Derby themed party, but since this year the Kentucky Derby falls on Cinco de Mayo… the fiestas override any Derby parties! That didn’t mean I still didn’t want to get dressed up for it though.  If I were going to the Kentucky Derby and wearing something out of my closet… this is what it would be! A structured sheath two tone dress, peep toe heels and my DIY Kentucky Derby hat made from my floppy hat seen here and here.  What do you think? What would you wear to the Kentucky Derby?

I have always wanted to go to the Kentucky Derby. I have never missed watching one on TV even when I was dealing with law school finals. I love this dress. So flattering. If I were going to the derby I would (buy something new) and wear a black and white polka dot dress with a big white hat and some black heels.

Very elegant dear! *.* Let me see, i would wear a structured dress, perhaps in pastel tones with some stunning heels. My hair would have to have in a ponytail, and don’t forget the Chanel sunglasses! 🙂 Have a lovely weekend! *.*
