I cannot express to you how much I LOVE this watch. Maybe it has something to do with the fact it is one of Wristology’s Rachel watches, I mean, how is it I don’t own ALL of the Rachel watches yet? 🙂 I love the rose gold paired with aqua blue, it is chic and gives a nice touch of color while still being professional enough for me to wear to my office! Wristology has a vast selection of gorgeous watches for an affordable price – and if you don’t know what to get your mom, sister or best girlfriend for Christmas – I would say you can’t go wrong with ANY of these styles. Or better yet, add one to your Christmas wish list. And the best news is that I’ve teamed up with Wristology to give away one of their beautiful watches!
Now onto my layers – this past Sunday it got really cold in Minneapolis, (I’m talking -7 with windchill), so I layered up with my favorite oversized sweater and a striped turtleneck that I thrifted recently. I’ve seen a few other bloggers do a similar layering style, recently I’ve been inspired by Caitiln’s cute, casual styles (she layers a few other looks too with the striped turtleneck) and of course, inspired by the lovely Blair.
I’ve layered with other striped turtleneck in the past with a dress and a jean vest, but never with another sweater. I think this look is going to happen a few more times this winter! Next time the temperature decides to be negative (oh wait, this is always as of lately), I’ll be sure to add a faux fur or puffer vest.
Sweater, H&M (Similar) // Turtleneck, Thrifted (Similar) // Watch, c/o Wristology // Jeans, Thrifted (Similar) // Bag, Rebecca Minkoff (Same style, different colors here and here) // Booties, JustFab (Similar style and similar with bow) // Earrings, eBay // Ring, c/o JTV
Also, follow me or sign up for LikeToKnow. It! Did you know you can shop similar or exact items by liking one of my photos on Instagram, or if you follow me, you can always check out my profile here! I think it is a great tool to share information on where products are from with the exact links to them, or instantly giving you a similar option (as a lot of my clothes are from a few years ago or thrifted)! Just like any links I use on the blog, I do receive commission from any purchases made if you click through on one of the items – thank you for your constant support!

December 2, 2014 at 12:30 PMI wish I could look half as stylish as you in the bitter cold! 😉 Being a native Californian, I have absolutely no experience in dressing for the winter, so living in NYC has forced me to get creative with my layers. Especially love how you layered the turtleneck over the striped top; it’s such a genius idea! And your Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac is just too gorgeous! I’m completely obsessed with mine and probably wear it way too much!

December 2, 2014 at 12:33 PMOh I’m sure you look super chic in the cold! And ME TOO GIRL! I use it on the weekends because it is the perfect size. I hate carrying around a big handbag anymore when I’m going out with people or grabbing drinks! But yeah, it will be in another outfit post this week because I used it over the whole weekend – whoops!
