Hello FRIENDS! I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend! This is my FIRST outfit post in awhile and my first outfit post as a MARRIED WOMAN! I look so different don’t I?! Haha, just kidding. You know the funny thing is I thought I would have SO much more free time post-wedding to dedicate to this space, but it’s honestly just been catching up with so much I had to put on hold while I was finalizing the details of our wedding. Speaking of, we got our photos back and I absolutely cannot wait to share them with you all. I also can’t wait to share more about my bridal shower, bachelorette party and the most important lessons I learned while and after planning a wedding. I used to wonder why people waited to post their wedding content until after they got married, but trust me, I get it now! I couldn’t even have tried to dedicate time to posting even if I wanted to. Plus, I think you learn so much after going through the process that it really makes sense to give advice after, not during, the process.

Anyway – how CUTE is this long, oversized yellow jacket?! It’s my new favorite piece that has already gotten a lot of attention. For example, my husband Joe has called it banana peel everytime I wear it (Insert LOL face). I totally see the similarity to me wearing a banana peel.
Also, while Black Friday shopping at the local Nordstrom, I got quite a few stares. I was worried my fly was down or I spilled something on my clothing, but a few minutes after feeling the “eyes” on me, two women approached me to ask where my “Banana Peel” jacket was from. One of them even took a picture of me so she would remember to order it online – LOL! I felt flattered that someone liked it so much to approach me, ask and do that. So, yeah, hands down – this is one of my most amazing closet pieces to date. And for $17, it’s a must for those of you wanting to make a statement.
