This dress was my grandmother’s and although it has been hard to move on from her recent passing, I am thankful for the time I got to spend with her. Wearing her dress helps me feel like a part of her is still around, and nothing makes me feel more proud than to wear this and represent her. As Thanksgiving approaches this week, thinking of her reminds me of how grateful I am for my family and all they do for me. Family means everything.

November 19, 2012 at 5:12 PMYou look gorgeous is these pictures! My grandma passed away 9 years ago and I still love to wear things of hers. My parents live across the street from my grandparents so my g-ma was a big part of my life. When I wear something of hers, I fell like I have a piece of her with me 🙂 That dress looks amazing on you!
