So summer isn’t quite over yet… the temperatures shot back up this weekend to near 100 and I had to find the best way to beat the heat! Yesterday I grabbed my easy, breezy off white dress I found in Mexico and threw it on because it is just one of those non-fussy dresses that I love to wear when it is super hot out. I recently got these incredibly comfortable Orthaheel sandals from Sole Provisions, and knew that I wanted to wear these to be as comfortable as possible for errands and meeting up with my friend for lunch! I love when you don’t have to sacrifice cute for comfort, just like these Orthaheel sandals. The beaded detailing is just perfect and the comfort is amazing. I have been switching out for my heels for theses sandals at least once a week at work just to give my feet a break.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and have a great week as well! Also, to my fellow Minnesotans, keep cool with Ice Mountain’s sparkling water! Refreshing and hydrating! *sponsored

I keep seeing these big floppy hats popping up on so many blogs and Instagram feeds. I am completely itching to buy one, and would use this outfit as a point of inspiration.
People may be thinking fall, but I’m not there yet. After all, it’s still so warm outside in most places!
RachelAugust 27, 2013 at 7:59 AM
YES! They are great! And seriously, I’ve seen some amazing fall inspired outfits, but how are they not dying?! I would be sweating and not happy taking pictures in a three layer outfit haha. Its been close to 100 here every day the past week!
