Is it just me, or does time keep going faster and faster?! I can’t seem to keep up with it all! Between addressing Christmas cards, Christmas shopping, Christmas decorating and just doing the usual routine, I’m feel like time is ticking faster! Also, been doing a lot of blog photos lately, but getting behind on actually scheduling them (hence the afternoon posting the last couple days). Anyway, here’s yet another outfit from Thanksgiving weekend! I wore this for shopping on Black Friday, and when my boyfriend got home, we went out to dinner and grabbed a couple drinks. I love how easy this open-face tweed jacket is to wear, and paired it with my favorite vintage scarf and my most comfortable Vionic booties! Also, I love adding a cute touch with a faux fur beanie, this one unfortunately just recently sold out, but this one is SUPER similar (and only $9.90)!

There’s nothing better than a festive sweater that actually falls into the “cute” category rather than the “ugly” category. For example, this adorable fair isle holiday sweater from FatFace! All of their Christmas sweaters are equally cute, so if you’re looking for one this season, now is the time to check them out. Also, how cute is this Christmas tree structure?! It is located in downtown Minneapolis, and my boyfriend and I knew we had to take pictures by it when we walked past it after grabbing our morning Starbucks. This is my first time “posing” with a Starbucks cup – does that make me an official blogger now?! Okay good!

This weekend seemed quicker than ever after “getting used” to a four-day weekend last week. Le sigh. But, so many exciting things coming up, and I had such a great weekend, I really can’t complain! I spent Friday night at home with my boyfriend watching a movie and addressing Christmas cards. Saturday morning we went downtown for coffee and to explore all the gorgeous Christmas decor. That afternoon, I headed to Iowa to see and spend that night at my grandma’s place. I wanted to be able to spend some quality time with her before her birthday on the 13th, she’s turning 90! And also wanted to see her because even though I’ll see her on Christmas, there are so many people and things going on, it really was a blessing to spend one-on-one time with her this weekend. We went thrifting, went to church, ate at a delicious little diner, watched Christmas movies, and ate ice cream. I’m already missing her!

These photos were actually taken over Thanksgiving weekend, when we went to visit my boyfriend’s family. And you might have spotted Emma in one photo (she enjoys when we include her in things)! This black faux fur poncho is literally like wearing a blanket (and it probably looks like I’m wearing a blanket), but I think the faux fur gives it that extra element of luxury, so I can get away with wearing it in real life.
