2017: A Year in Review

Hello friends! It’s time for another year in review (you can read last year’s review here) – and let’s talk about this year! The best one yet personally – I GOT MARRIED and so many personal wonderful life events, but yet another year of tragedy. Who knew that it could get worse than 2016 – with all that happened last year, it’s surprising to feel like this year was even worse. The natural disasters and the worst mass shooting of all. It is heartbreaking. I have A LOT to share about this year, many amazing life events for me and my family, but also, I plan to reflect more on how I can get more involved in my New Year’s resolutions post. For this post, I’m highlighting the positives of 2017. Get ready for a picture overload!

My Black Friday Purchases

I know what you’re thinking… Black Friday was forever ago, right?! This is true. It’s already been two [might I add grueling] weeks since Black Friday and all the shopping chaos, but I still wanted to share what I purchased because I’ve really been enjoying everything. I got two beauty samplers (so all sample or mini-sized versions of the products), one beauty sampler from Sephora and a few clothing items from Aeropostale. I always think it’s fun to see what people bought and do a little “haul” of what I purchased for myself this year!

The Pros & Cons of Outdoor Weddings

Depending on where you live or where in the world you want your wedding, outdoor weddings can be very popular. During the warm summer months especially, it can be hard to walk through certain parks or venues without seeing a bride. Some people will even brave the cold to get the wedding of their dreams outdoors, whether that is Millennium Park in Chicago or Central Park in New York City.
