What to Wear for Thanksgiving

November 26, 2013

Casual Dress Outfit

Still have no idea what to wear for Thanksgiving? I put together some ideas based on how casual or dressy your Thanksgiving might be this year. Usually I try to dress up a casual look (like the chambray and maxi skirt look below). Other casual looks include a dress with a scarf, socks and flat boots or skinny jeans, a sweater and loafers. If you are attending a fancy Thanksgiving dinner or buffet, or hosting your own, why not try a fitted dress with heels. And if you are like me, I will probably just change into sweats after the meal if I indulge a little too much!

The first outfit is definitely right up my alley! A comfy sweater dress and boots will most likely be my Thanksgiving attire!

I love all of these ideas! I’m totally going with leggings and one of my favorite maternity sweater dresses. I think I’d wear something similar even not being pregnant though – save room for the extra food, lol.

I love the outfit with the cozy sweater and statement necklace. I like to wear something comfy since I’ll be in a food coma, haha. πŸ™‚

I’d gladly wear any of these outfits! The one with the skirt is definitely my favorite…the pearls may have something to do with it!

These are such pretty outfit ideas!! All are so chic and festive πŸ™‚ My family gatherings are both really casual so I’m planning to just wear jeans with a blouse and heeled booties…not super exciting, but it will work! haha.

    Love all these looks, Rachel!

Our Thanksgiving is pretty casual, but I try to give jeans and a sweater a punch of style by wearing tall boots + some statement jewelry. πŸ™‚

Hope you have a good holiday!

Cute options for Thanksgiving! Of course, I think I’m with you on the sweats… since there’s so many lovely luxe versions of sweats out this year, I think I’m definitely going to be going down that path with you! (Probably Helmut Lang – one sweatshirt I have looks like an avant-garde tunic with fitted sleeves but feels like fleece pjs – they’re amazing). πŸ˜€

    Happy Thanksgiving!
